Crypto Miners
I personally agree with most that this sector is speculative and likely to end badly for those holding the bag but I have thought this since bitcoin was at 80 cents. I have recently entered into the crypto equities space and have made some nice profits on miners and the trading platforms.  I have taken profits and reinvested in silver miners I am running on mostly free shares with the majority of my positions. Here is a list of my picks (keep in mind these could all fall faster than the rise)

$RMRK

$SANP

$USTC

$CLYXF

If you would like to know about one company or all please let me know and I will be happy to share my due diligence on them.  I am going to tentatively add to the crypto positions only if I can find more that have yet to go parabolic and will likely be shorter term trades.  I will add them here

I forgot to add $GAHC

The profits these past few weeks have been surprising to say the least.  I have some others on my radar but have yet to pull the trigger due to volatility, I may take more profits and put a minimal investment in some more blockchain related penny stocks for more moon shots on shorter term trades

covered all my shorts today...banked about 6.5% overall since started shorting...gave a little back at the end.
Im not willing to commit to the long side as still believe this rally wont last...but being short and UP, didn't want to lose profits...GL all.

Probably a smart move. I was going to add to my PAAS holdings today but it ran away from me. Not convinced that
its not a suckers rally, but I don't want to be 100% out either.

I think its a suckers rally...but being short is too dangerous. Id hate to see my profits vanish. Bottoms are nearly impossible to time on the long side as well as short side and its certainly much easier to make money on the long side. Have to be less greedy and disciplined when short.

Nikko are you taking about closing shorts on silver or the crypto plays? Or both?

Hypno, I never shorted crypto stocks as I am not a lunatic! I closed off my miner shorts ( remainder of them )...flat completely at the moment...100% cash.

had to return to the short side this morning. Short some GDX at 22.55 and some AG at 7.75
Im at 20% short now with 80% cash. This is as big as it will get on the short side for the time being. Will play about a 3% stop on GDX and a 6% stop on AG.

Hard to stay on the sidelines isn't it. Dumped all my GBTC @$2000. That was my line in the sand. Premium was just to high with BITCOIN crashing 16000 on the downside. I have two penny stocks related to bit coin I'm playing but just lunch money.
95% cash.     ER

Thanks but my discipline is lacking GBTC hit 3500 on Tuesday! The premium was like 84% the sell everything light was shining in
my eyes, and greed kicked in and I held. I was in the red for 10 months this year until the BITCOIN craze lifted me into the black.
I don't believe it is over yet, and I will keep a close eye on it.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!

This post didn't age too well did it guys haha.  I sold 11% of crypto equities on Wednesday. 33% Thursday. 27% at open this Friday. I got out fairly well but I had a feeling I should have sold more Wednesday but still had a nice profit. May get back in certain picks after the waters calm but with the volatility I had to take a step back. I will not enter USTC due to them not being contactable.
