FSM
Unlike most first quarter earnings reports followed by the share price getting hammered, FSM had a solid quarter and good stock appreciation. I am holding a long term position in the stock.

FSM may have made its first step today and try again. Hopefully, the environment will be there for it to do so.

I know Chartist likes the 40 day MA indicator, and it looks like FSM has crossed above it. The moving average orientation looks bad for the stock since the August 2016 high. Shorter term indicators are positive with RSI sloping up at mid point and BB's pinched with the upper band up sloping slightly. STO's and MACD are also looking ok. Since the stock has not participated in the 2017 rally, it may be in position for a solid rebound.

It's looking good to me to carry on for awhile. Good luck with it.

FSM did go up a bit then fell below the $4.70 share price at the time of the above post. Chart now is atrocious wrt MA's

Shorter term indicators look much better:

Maybe FSM is about to move higher again. I do not like the location of their mines being in Mexico, but the high silver percentage is attractive.

I had another look at FSM this afternoon, chart is looking much better than when looked at in recent previous posts in this thread. Still not a fan of the mines being in Mexico, especially with the Trump administration dealing with the migrant caravans and the potential political tic for tat carrying over to business relations. Note MACD minimums in the recent past have signaled up turns even if not lasting. This one might last, as many other small miners are showing similar characteristics. Time will tell. I have no position having sold out quite a while ago at around $6.

Been reading up on FSM as a potential buy but have some doubts now.
With elections in Argentina coming soon there is a possibility of another candidate coming to power, Alberto Fernandez who has
been openly against foreign capital (mainly oil).
As Fortuna's  Lindero mine is in Argentina ownership and if Fernandez comes to power, there is a potential trouble of FSM
loosing rights to Lindero mine.
That could deffo affect the price to the downside (if it happens at all) so I am thinking on waiting for the results of the elections
before making a decision.
I'm not the expert, just sharing my research (if few hours of browsing can be called that).
Would love to hear any comments or opinions on this matter.

Keep researching, read as much as you can. Things will start falling into place as far as understanding the things needed to make a solid decision based on fundamentals.  FSM could be one of the big gainers. Political risk is high in most miners.  High risk=high reward if things go in your favor. If they don't go in your favor, much will be lost.  Diversification and balance will overcome the risk issues in the long run.

FSM has a presentation dated this month That is very positive on Lindero ( first dore poor 1st qtr 2020, 2020 gold production of 150,000 ounces. AISC $800) but nothing is said about government issues. I like the company's mining prospects, but nearly all growth is located in norther Argentina and that is a big drawback. I think there are better, or at least safer opportunities.
